Senior Director of Institutional Research
Carrie Tsosie-Jim graduated from Navajo Prep High School and then pursued a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Native American Studies from Stanford University. She earned a Master's Degree in Higher Education from Harvard University. While at Harvard, she served on the Harvard University Diversity and Inclusion Subcommittee. As a result of this work, the President of Harvard University launched the Presidential Task Force on Inclusion and Belonging. Closer to home, Ms. Tsosie-Jim also earned a certificate in Emergency Medical Services from San Juan College as part of her academic exploration.
Ms. Tsosie-Jim’s experience includes serving as the Interim Senior Director for Institutional Research and Strategic Planning at San Juan College. She has extensive experience conducting research and preparing reports and presentations focused on the students we serve here at the college.
She worked as the Director of Academic Assessment at Dine College. She also served as the Student Success/Retention Coordinator for the American Indian Student Support Services Department at Arizona State University.
In Carrie’s free time, she enjoys weaving. She has been a Navajo weaver for nearly 20 years, a skill passed down through the women in her family.
