A Launchpad for Innovation and Small Business Growth
San Juan College’s Enterprise Center is helping entrepreneurs in Northwest New Mexico turn ideas into successful businesses. As a certified business incubator, the center provides the resources, mentorship and connections that startups and small businesses need to grow.
In the past year, Enterprise Center member companies reported more than $12.9 million in gross receipts and helped to create nearly 90 jobs. These results demonstrate the center’s role in strengthening the region’s economy.
The Big Idea Makerspace: Where Creativity Becomes Reality
The Big Idea Makerspace is seeing record use. With over 1,300 visits in the fiscal year 2025, this hub gives innovators access to cutting-edge tools like 3D printers, laser cutters, woodworking equipment, sewing machines and metalworking tools.
Students, entrepreneurs and community members can use the Makerspace to prototype products, explore new skills and bring big ideas to life.
