KSJE Recognized for Sports Play-by-Play and Social Media Integration

Competing in the Large Market category against both commercial and non-commercial stations from cities like Farmington, Las Cruces, Santa Fe, and Roswell, KSJE won first place in two categories:

  • Sports Play-by-Play for its coverage of the 2024 Connie Mack World Series, continuing a tradition of award-winning broadcasts.
  • Social Media Integration for its unique "Visual Radio" program, which streams live video of its morning radio interviews on Facebook and YouTube each weekday at 8 a.m.

“These awards are a testament to our team’s dedication to high-quality, community-focused broadcasting,” said Scott Michlin, KSJE Station Manager. “We're proud to be recognized for both our sports coverage and our digital outreach efforts.”

2025 Marks Milestones for KSJE and the Connie Mack World Series

This year is significant for both the station and the community: KSJE celebrates 35 years on the air, and the Connie Mack World Series marks its 60th anniversary in Farmington.

To commemorate these milestones, KSJE will once again provide live broadcasts of all games played at Ricketts Park during the 2025 Connie Mack World Series, from Friday, July 25 through Saturday, August 2.

Where to Listen:

In addition, KSJE’s “On the Road” series will provide live streaming video coverage of the 2025 Connie Mack World Series Parade, set to take place in downtown Farmington at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 25.
