Next Steps for Dual Credit and Early Admits

Now that you're part of the SJC Family, there are a few more steps to take to prepare for the first day of class. Below you'll find detailed information that will guide you through the enrollment process. We're here for you if you have any questions.

Dual Credit Students

Schedule an appointment with your high school representative.

Dual Credit offers you the opportunity to take a class that will fulfill both a high school core or elective credit and also achieve college credit at the same time. Your high school representative will assist you with selecting a class that aligns with your high school graduation requirements and also one of San Juan College’s academic course plans. The guidance counselor will email your requested classes to records@sanjuancollege.edu on your behalf.

Early Admission offers Colorado concurrent enrollment students the opportunity to take a class that will fulfill both a high school core or elective credit and also achieve college credit at the same time. Early Admission is also an option for high school students in New Mexico who seek to take a class that is not an approved dual credit class under the New Mexico statewide dual credit program, such as a remedial or developmental class. Your high school representative will assist you with selecting a class that aligns with your high school graduation requirements and also one of San Juan College’s academic course plans. The guidance counselor will email your requested classes to records@sanjuancollege.edu on your behalf.

Homeschool Students:

Schedule an appointment with the Dual Credit Coordinator or an Academic Advisor.

We will assist you with selecting a class that aligns with your high school graduation requirements and also one of San Juan College’s academic course plans. Your college advisor will register you for classes. If your parent prefers to send in your class registration, you must use your San Juan College email account to email the request to records@sanjuancollege.edu.

Your MySJC account is your passport to campus. You will need to be able to login to MySJC before you can apply for housing, access your SJC email, accept financial aid, and register for classes. It's important to complete this step as soon as possible. Instructions on how to access your SJC account are sent to your personal email after you've been admitted.
